ABOUT THE CLINIC
The Byron Bay Chiropractor was established in 2012, after returning to the mainland from living and working in the South Pacific, on Norfolk Island, where I maintained FIFO visits for 10 years until the NSW/QLD Covid border lockdowns through a spanner in the works!

PRINCIPLES
We take a traditional approach to treatment, based on the teachings of those who came before us.
Our underlying principle is that structure governs function, that disturbances of whatever tissue within the body will lead to disturbances of functioning in that structure and, in turn, of the function of the body as a whole. The objective, therefore, is the complete restoration of the structural integrity in the body.
This high aim may not be achieved but that is the goal, and whatever means are used to restore harmonious structural integration. Within this framework of treatment, our chief agency is manual manipulation of joints, but also of importance are the improvement of posture, the encouragement of good lymphatic and venous drainage, the improvement of the arterial blood flow, the reposition of viscera, the use of exercises for strengthening muscles or the stretching of contracted tissues.
